Easy Golden Milk with Turmeric and Honey

Easy Golden Milk with Turmeric and Honey

Golden milk is a warm turmeric-spiced drink found in many contemporary kitchens, with roots in South Asian culinary traditions. This version keeps the formula simple and uses honey for gentle sweetness.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk or unsweetened non-dairy milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of ground ginger or black pepper, optional
  • 1–2 teaspoons honey, to taste

Method

Warm milk gently with turmeric and spices, whisking until steaming but not aggressively boiling. Remove from heat, allow to cool slightly, then stir in honey to taste.

Why Add Honey After Heating?

Adding it after the drink comes off the heat makes it easier to control sweetness and preserves more of the honey's aroma.

Responsible Guidance

This is a culinary preparation, not a medical treatment. Turmeric has traditional culinary and wellness use, but this recipe does not make disease claims.
