Golden Ginger Turmeric Milk
Share
This golden milk warms turmeric root powder with ginger, cinnamon, and a pinch of black pepper, finished with honey. It has a warm, faintly peppery spice with a rounded sweetness from the honey. Milk and warming spices are turmeric's classic culinary partner, softening its earthy edge into something cozy and drinkable.

- 1 cup milk or plant milk
- 1/2 teaspoon NutriBotanix Turmeric Powder
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

- Very small pinch black pepper
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla, optional
Method
- Combine milk, turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, and black pepper in a small saucepan.
- Warm over medium-low heat while whisking until evenly golden and steaming, about 3–4 minutes.
- Do not boil.
- Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly before stirring in honey and vanilla.
Why This Combination Works
On its own, turmeric can taste bitter and a little dusty. Milk mellows that considerably, while ginger and cinnamon reinforce its warm spice character rather than fighting it, and a small pinch of black pepper adds a light, contrasting bite.
