Simple Amla Honey Drink: Warm or Iced
Amla has a distinctly tart flavor, so honey is a natural kitchen partner. This simple drink can be made warm or cold.
Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- Amla powder: use the serving amount stated on the NutriBotanix label
- 1–2 teaspoons honey
- Squeeze of lemon or lime, optional
Method
Whisk amla into room-temperature or warm water. Stir in honey to taste. Add citrus if you want a sharper finish. For an iced version, pour over ice and dilute as needed.
Taste Note
Amla is naturally tart and can taste astringent. Start with the labeled serving amount and adjust the drink—not the serving—by adding more water or honey.
