Flavors of Fall: Three Small-Batch Honeys Worth Savoring
Share
Fall doesn't have to mean the same flavor in every cup and on every breakfast table. Sometimes you want warm apple and cinnamon. Sometimes you want a boldly spiced spoonful. And sometimes you want something a little unexpected.
Our Flavors of Fall collection brings those three moods together in small-batch creamed clover honey: Warm Apple, Chai, and Blood Moon. Each is made with fine seed honey and controlled crystallization for a spoonable, spreadable texture. The flavors take it from there.
Warm Apple: a little breakfast comfort
Warm Apple Creamed Clover Honey combines green apple oil, Ceylon cinnamon, vanilla powder, and ground ginger with clover honey. Think apple-and-spice flavor, ready to spread or stir.
Try a thin layer on warm toast, a spoonful swirled into cooked oatmeal, or a little alongside cheese and crackers. For an easy fall dessert, spoon some over a baked apple just before serving. These are pairing ideas, so start small and adjust to your own taste.
The apple flavor in this batch comes from green apple oil, not fresh apple pieces or apple purée.

Chai: for the warm-spice person
Chai Creamed Clover Honey is made with raw clover honey, cardamom, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and nutmeg. This seeded version has a stronger spice profile than our older whipped Chai, with flavor that carries into a warm drink.
For a simple cozy cup, stir 1–2 generous teaspoons into approximately 240–250 mL of warm milk, then adjust to taste. You can also use warm water or a light black tea. The honey itself does not contain tea.
Prefer something to eat? Spread a little on a biscuit or swirl it into oatmeal. The dry spices give this honey its own texture as well as its flavor.
Blood Moon: a different kind of fall flavor
Blood Moon Creamed Clover Honey brings orange and raspberry flavors together with cardamom and vanilla. It's the jar to try when you want a fruit-flavored direction alongside the collection's warm spices.
Pair it with a plain scone, spread it over toast, or offer a small spoonful beside soft cheese and crackers. Keeping the accompaniment simple gives you room to notice the honey's flavor.
I aim to use natural and organic ingredients whenever available and suitable. I’ve identified a blood orange oil to replace the raspberry flavor, but it wasn’t available from the manufacturer when I ordered for this batch. This batch uses raspberry flavor containing propylene glycol, water, artificial flavors, Red 40 and Blue 1, as disclosed on the label and product page.

Choose one jar, or give all three
Each individual glass jar contains 7 oz (198 g) of honey and is currently $19.95.
Can't choose, or looking for a host gift? The Flavors of Fall Creamed Honey Gift Trio brings together one jar of each flavor for $49.95. It includes a rustic cotton bag, individual product inserts, and a gold-plated steel spoon. That's three 7 oz jars, with 21 oz of honey in total.
Give the complete trio, or keep it for a small tasting at home: set out three spoons and a plate of plain toast or crackers, then find your favorite. Current availability and prices are shown on the product pages.
A small jar can change an everyday ritual
You don't need a special occasion or an elaborate recipe. Choose Warm Apple for an apple-and-spice breakfast, Chai for a boldly spiced cup, or Blood Moon for an orange-and-raspberry pairing.
Browse the Creamed Honeys collection or visit Gifts to explore the trio. If you're new to the texture, start with Why Creamed Honey?. Our creamed, whipped, and seeded honey guide explains the production terms.
Storage and care: Follow your jar's instructions. Keep in a cool place away from direct sunlight and excessive heat, which can soften the creamed texture. Use a clean, dry spoon. Do not give honey to children under 12 months of age.
